My rule of thumb: Anyone who is violently against the lifestyle of another is probably hiding that they wish to practice said lifestyle. This guy was hiding quite a bit more, glad he was exposed.

So how many ultra-religious anti-LGBT leaders exposed for corruption does this make now? I think some terms explaining this are projection, reaction formation, denial, suppression, and just plain hypocrisy.

Pastor Romero does as he should. The world condemns because that is all it knows. God be with him and I hope for his restoration. The church is not anti-LGBT. God's law calls homosexuality sin. It also calls divorce, deception, murder, and idolatry sin. 1/

If you were to ask, I'm sure you would find that faithful believers are against those as well. Being anti-LGBT should not imply hate toward the individual, only the acts thereof. To err is human; to forgive is divine. 2/2
