While Mayor Durkan spends her time talking about the importance of her constituents wearing masks, her police force is out this morning sweeping homeless encampments in the CID, virtually none of them social distancing or wearing masks.

This, on top of the fact the CDC has said homeless sweeps should not be taking place during the pandemic, is a perfect illustration of the contempt with which this administration and police force view our unhoused neighbors.

They can't even observe basic public health practices, despite violently removing people and property in the name of public health.
