afaict HTML is def. important in HTTP utilization tho poss not enough, in itself, for functional programming - could poss. denote it as something in a category of protocol data units, formally w/ JavaScript for the client side and CGI + PHP/Python/PERL/BASH/... on the server side

Different, def! tbt fan of Lisp-like macro languages for LibC systems. Shoutout to the Object Management Group b.c UML for interoperability diagrams, even if they haven't quite taken UML to the point of making all the existing/new languages push-button interoperable
