of course working for 100 hrs/wk will lead to burnout. BUT 1. work 40 hours / week for 5 months, no vacations = 800 hours work 2. work 100 hours / week for 2 months, then take 3 months completely off = 800 hours of work (2) seems to be preferable if you can pull it off

Added bonus: you become more efficient with increased time/week so those 800 hours = greater output/time. At least, i do. Then during time off, you can relax / explore multiple topics to find new ideas. Focused periods of work or relaxation are significantly better than on&off.

Some might not agree with increased efficiency, but at 100hr/wk the ideas are constantly in your brain. There is less ‘start-up’ time to load ideas into brain. You dream about ideas & come back the next day with improvements. Trick is getting sleep/exercise/healthy food.
