It’s pretty stupid how UMG can copyright claim your video for only using like 20 seconds of a song in a documentary that is over 1 HOUR LONG! They get all the profit from all my hard work all cause of a 20 second song. This needs to fixed.

I worked months for this 50 vs Ja video only for Part 2 to be copyright for a few songs that total up maybe to 2 minutes out of a 1 hour documentary. UMG now makes ALL THE PROFIT off that hard work.

Why doesn’t
@YouTube make it so that UMG only gets like 10% , that’d be fair and it’d make sense instead of profiting off 100% of my work.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

Replying to @spacedandy0 @QuakeGW and
it's becoming a trend to copyright and profit on other people's works

I don’t mind them making some money off it since I used BRIEFLY some of the music but to make ALL the profit off of a 1 HOUR long documentary is insane. They didn’t do all that hard work and they can just come in and take the money all for themselves.

yeah man, there are a lot of youtubers who had this same exact issue, and it's preposterous, even pathetic to claim all te money over something you haven't made just because your work was used for few seconds, frustrating
