... but I'm not overly concerned given that mapzen already managed to spend boatloads of other peoples money without producing a sustainable business, and I don't expect it to be different this time.

PS: there are in popular use #openstreetmap projects that clearly could use support, mostly those that don't have a clear corporate home right now, the choices by the @linuxfoundation however show that they lack the requisite domain knowledge.
