Will be doing some traveling next week and really looking for a good book to read. Usually I’m all about sci fi / fantasy, suspense, or non fiction (science, tech, history, just interesting stuff). If anyone has recommendations feel free to throw my way

No but
@crandycodes just suggested it too. This one looks very cool -
You can borrow my copy if you want.

Since
@rain_soaked_ worked at half price books for a while, we got a lot of good deals on books. Since then, the habit has stuck. ebooks are fine in a pinch, though. -
I’ve notice
@DanRosanova always has physical books. I do think something - more connected? - when holding the book. I’m a fan of jumping between devices or even formats (sometimes do the audible + kindle thing so can read during commute) -
I much prefer physical books to ebooks; there's something in the feel of paper under the fingers.

I love the smell of the paper. And the physical evidence of my progress is more satisfying than a percentage

Man this is making me think I’m gonna swing by the library today. It’s funny how much the % thing is though - that has always bothered me when reading from iPad (progress doesn’t feel as satisfying)
