Fwiw I like having everything in github. I tech non engineers how to do PRs through web interface. It's an easy stepping stone to "I also made some minor edits to this JavaScript"

It just means more people are dependent on ops to be successful. I find hosted Wordpress or webflow for marketing and a knowledge base system for support enables much more organizational agility.
