    I mean this with absolute sincerity and not hyperbole - is Britney Spears safe right now? This very second. The people who did this to her are psychopaths and could very well retaliate against her for speaking out. This is a real time crisis that can’t wait for another court date

    “schools should be the first to open and the last to close in the pandemic.” Our schools should have been reopened MONTHS AGO. Governor Newsom has stolen our kids’ education for past year, and he’s done so based on junk science.

    It wasn't a COVID relief bill. It was the omnibus spending bill that HAD to be passed in order to avoid a gov't shutdown. Biden doesn't want to be taking over a shut down gov't, does he? They just added an insulting amount of relief to try to placate you.

    It’s been an amazing journey. I am very proud that as the granddaughter of immigrant farm workers I will be sworn in to the California State Assembly today. The only seat to switch partisan hands, bringing more balance for the people of California.

    Do you know how many COVID deaths Ventura County has had in the last 14 days? ZERO. NONE. ZIP. ZILCH. NADA. Out of the 174 deaths over the duration of the pandemic, 138 were over 65 yo, 28 were 45-64, 7 were 25-44, and 1 was 18-24. WHY ARE WE SHUT DOWN? Get our kids in school!
