    A lot of times people think they are feeling shame because they are bad people, but shame is actually usually an indicator that you are NOT being true to who you really are. Love yourself more today. Notice where you need to make changes and let the shame and guilt go.

    Today's card. If you were given more responsibility than you were developmentally ready for as a kid, you may struggle to see the limitations of your control & what's your stuff vs. other people's. That shouldn't have happened & it's not your fault. Now it's time 2 learn limits.

  4. If you just had major surgery, you wouldn't schedule a marathon right away. You would give yourself time to rest and recuperate. If you have just gone through a big emotional healing, give yourself the same courtesy. Take it easy. Rest. Heal.

    there is nothing wrong with taking a day or week to focus on yourself and your well being. stop concerning yourself with other people and their triggers, so you can focus on you and your healing.

  11. BTW - this isn't to say there is such a thing as negative emotions. It is natural to feel sad, angry, hurt etc, esp when we feel hurt by others; however, there is a difference between experiencing and cycling through these emotions and making them your entire identity.

  12. Other people are not responsible for your emotional state. It's been normalized for us to think that they are, but they are not. That doesn't excuse abusive or shitty behavior, but it is a way to empower yourself to stay grounded in your own happiness.

    Influencer culture is toxic. Making people think it’s normal to take thousands of photos of yourself, wear designer and travel 24/7, socialise all the time, look airbrushed all day everyday, buy new outfits each week. Its a fat money making scheme that preys on our insecurities
