    Companies have power. Powerful companies control industries and can shape society. Universities are shareholders. Many universities hold investments in companies, thereby owning a part of it. Every year, a company holds an AGM, a gathering of shareholders. Shareholders can file resolutions - a proposal to change company practices. Call on your university to vote at AGMs and push for change.
