Would it be reasonable to argue that anti-vaxxers could be prosecuted for manslaughter or a crime against humanity?

I'm a parent to a kid who had regressive autism. Not for one second did I decide to look at vaccines as the thing to blame. The science is clear. It doesn't change when you're going thru pain like that. I get the sentiment of your piece, but these ppl are so dangerous.

I am relieved I was born when I was and not now because I was too ill to have some of my vaccinations at the same time as everyone else so depended on herd immunity. I cannot respect anti vaxxers.

I try to never ridicule and to show empathy. Unfortunately, social media anti-vaxxers are steeped in pseudoscience, hyperbole and conspiracy theories. They aren’t here to discuss or learn. They’re here to disparage scientists and spread fear of evidence-based medicine.

Plus spread harmful “treatments” like MMS/CD that are straight up child abuse. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2010/sep/15/miracle-mineral-solutions-mms-bleach …

Empathy seldom works as many of them are both inexorable and incorrigible.

“We care about saving children’s lives.” Hence the reason their influence and spread of misinformation should be limited because it is not without consequence. This is the reason we health professionals are passionate about the subject.
