Phullu made in 2017 was exactly on this subject. Simple, low budget, very good movie.
Watched #Padman last night & what an outstanding film it is with a very important social message. @akshaykumar hats off to you for raising social issues through your films, such a fine actor. @sonamakapoor I loved you as Pari! You lit up the screen with ur effortless act.

How will this reach to those people who actually need It. in the theatre I did not see any lady who may not be aware of the ill effects of using clothes, leaves and not using sanitary napkins. Movie gave me and my friends a good laugh as AKKI is really good at doing comedies.

I tweeted above as this movie is called a social message. For whom no one cares about. Anyone who does not have money to buy sanitary pads will definitely not have money to see this movie in cinemas.
