For the record, has passed up or failed to close such deals because we would not whitelist the tracking scripts across the Web that the search partner said they require to be unblocked. We chose not to violate our own principles and our users' trust, at high cost to us. /2

We'd rather reform search ads in the manner we've taken on Brave Ads: user-first, privacy-preserving via client+p2p anonymity tech, and no third party — including our servers — tracking you across the Web. Even if it takes more time and capital to prove that this is possible. /3

At the beginning as an artist I was using Google on some of my devices since it was better for references and images, but not anymore, Brave Search gets me the results I need while keeping me private and secure.
