    Happy New Year everyone. Fly-in First Nations communities know about expensive gas. It does not help when winter road season become shorter each year due to climate change.

  4. I’d like to send my thoughts and prayers to community of Webequie and especially to family of Braiden Jacob.I got to visit the mother on Sunday.All I could do is be there. I could not find any words that would comfort to her.Keep Webequie and families in your prayers. ❤️

  6. Reminder to fellow MPPs: Flying in and out of our communities to work is not the same as living as a First Nations person and facing our issues, challenges and successes on daily basis. Saying as much in the chamber is patronizing at best, unethical at worst.

  7. My heart is broken for Braiden Jacob, his family and his community of Webequie First Nation. Our youth shouldn’t have to risk their lives to access basic health services. I urge all MPPs to join me in the fight for our young people’s safety.

  13. Another friendly reminder to fellow MPPs: Do not say “I have Indigenous friends” or “some of my best friends are First Nations” during Question Period or in public. Having First Nations friends does not mean you’re a friend to First Nations.
