The problem is it greatly downplays John's tweets which were angry, racist, and sexist. Then goes on to call for civility from those John attacked. Saying they shouldn't be angry and calling them uncivil, which is the very definition of tone policing.
He didn't say that he's fully backing Kim etc he had the audacity not to side with any of them and tried to have an unbiased look at it
