This is grotesque, immoral and inhumane. The government is retrospectively revoking citizenship rights that our government itself granted but failed to record properly decades ago. I will fight against this historic injustice with every bone in my body until this wrong is righted

Thread. After WW2 we invited the Windrush Generation over to rebuild our country as citizens. They have worked, raised families, paid their taxes. Done nothing wrong. This inhumane treatment is not who we are as a country and it’s time for the Home Office to put a stop to this.

If you’re trying to kick out 60 year olds who have been here since they were 10 your immigration policy might just be wanking material for Nigel Farage. Change it.

Now had contact with DWP's "alternative format" team. After being asked to explain why I needed an electronic version of the PIP form for access reasons as I struggle with pen and paper -- and not just because it is 2018 -- I've been asked to sign a consent form to get the form.

Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic. I don't think or et al need to be worried in the slightest about Santander's new ability to do same day or next day international money transfers.

"As well as being faster, the service also shows customers the exact amount that will be received in the destination currency before they make the transfer". WTF AM I MISSING?! I bet and and a million other fx services are shitting bricks right now.

Dubbed "Santander One Pay FX," it makes it possible for customers to complete international transfers "on the same day in many cases or by the next day".

Ok, so, Santander have announced a new money transfer service based on Ripple's xCurrent technology (ie it doesn't use Xrp crypto currency before all the altcoin heads get excited).
