in those interrogatories, kline was asked to identify everyone he spoke to in planning the unite the right rally. he listed only 12 names. he failed to list any charlottesville police officers, any discord contacts, and left off thomas rousseau, the leader of vanguard america.

kline told judge moon that he thought sending an email to the court constituted a sworn statement. the judge, incredulous, asked him, "you thought the email was under oath?" pro se litigants get A LOT of leeway, but judge moon is very clearly sick of eli's shit.

in one discord message ahead of the rally, kline provided members of the chat several ways to contact him, all things he has admitted or are otherwise proven to be actual methods of communicating with him at that time... except the phone number.

kline claimed today that the phone number he himself gave out to UTR participants not only was never his own phone number, he claims to have no idea who it ever belonged to and was unable to find the number in any of his contacts or other communications.

"i can only assume that was somebody else's number that i accidentally put there," kline told the judge. (sure, haven't we all accidentally given out a phone number that bears no similarity at all, not even the area code, to our own number, just by accident?)

he also claimed that he has no way of accessing any of the 8 twitter accounts he used during the relevant time period. suspended accounts can be turned over by twitter, but in order to fill out the consent form, kline must provide the email address used to create the account.

kline testified that he used burner emails to create all 8 twitter accounts and has no recollection of what those email addresses might be. there is evidence that suggests that at least two of the accounts were validated using the phone number he claims he never had.
