You can also be un-confident in your current stance, and "debate" for the sake of learning the truth and gaining a more nuanced understanding. I feel like that's a lost art.
it’s ok not to have a take on everything. sometimes the discourse goes somewhere you’re not needed and you don’t have to follow it.
