i’m sure it’s fun to make an edgy joke online but when you do that in reply to a post about a very real situation, you’re making things worse. you’re creating something people can point to and say, “see, her associates are planning X!”

if you want to joke about this kind of shit, joke about your own problems. i don’t need the nazi who tried to take a hit out on me to get riled up about your bad joke. i don’t need the vigilantes willing to murder me and my friends amped up about a fake bomb threat.
