Why is any of this important? We've all seen how large marketplaces & platforms have grown thanks to the hard work of creators. They drive traffic, and platforms capture the majority of value.We think this is unfair. 12/n

As we built the early versions of Plaza, we realized we focused on the wrong primary user. Instead of building for brands, our focus should have been the Creator that a brand collaborates with to sell socially. 3/n

For a top tier specific VC firm,who are name dropping that they are talking to The Postcard Hotel for investment. A clarification, we are NOT talking to anyone. You will not even get an investment deck out of us. I know it’s really cool to mention our name in Goa, have a drink.

Happened to us a few weeks back. Never heard of the fund. Apparently we’re on their portfolio page. I assume they invested through a syndicate. flagged it.

Someone asked me to vouch for a VC fund I've never met. Turns out, it's because we're on the fund's portfolio page?? I'm *guessing* a partner is in a syndicate on our cap table, but I still would suggest you not do this. Whole portfolio may be made up. Really bad look.
