Oh god. 1,820 UK COVID deaths announced: our highest since the pandemic began, in a country with one of the world's worst death tolls. British Conservatism is a death cult

Quelle surprise. Alongside everything else, they've given the vaccination contract to their mates, instead of the NHS. Now watch as it goes tits up.

Well said . Absolutely appalling that Tory MPs last night voted in this way. They cannot be trusted. Now more than ever we must campaign to protect our NHS and all publicly owned services.

The last desperate claim of the COVID deniers - that significant excess deaths aren't happening in the second wave - collapses in the most horrible way possible. And bear in mind, these figures only go up to 8th January: many more have died since.

"Too many in the media bottled it. At some point we have to own this. Donald Trump and his mob succeeded in getting this far because we, the media, failed. We failed you." I have been waiting four long years to say this. It's important. Pls watch/share:

How the Conservatives treat working class kids: ▪️Rigged algorithm disadvantaging state schools ▪️Refusing to extend Free School Meals into holidays ▪️Rejecting free WiFi for working class families ▪️Replacing FSM vouchers with meagre packs ▪️UNICEF stepping in to feed kids

£5 worth of food bought with £30 of public money. So who is pocketing the rest while families go hungry?

Turning down visa-free travel for musicians touring in the EU because they don’t want to grant the same rights to EU musicians here. Tories - cultureless, barren, pinched faced and wrecking one of our greatest exports. I am so angry - not for myself but for the next generation.

I’m on strike because my business want me to work more hours with less holiday, less pay. A job I love has me extremely concerned for my future and stressed more than ever. I love my family time and don’t want it taken away from me.

Day 2 of our strike. These 2 are the reason I’m striking. BG are wanting us to work an extra 156 hours a year (at least). It takes precious family time away whilst my children are growing up. No work/life balance. We need to stop this. 👊🏼 Please retweet

After 13yrs of service, Mr O'shea is sacking me on 31st March if I don’t agree and sign his new contract on significantly worse terms. Less pay, more hours and fewer benefits. No redundancy, no choice. Fire + rehire is morally wrong and soul destroying
