I once got detention for saying Under Satan. Worth it. Now I'm older and wiser though. Ambivalent about God but anti state. Id rather the schools force kids to pray a God that might not exist than swear to a government that shouldn't exist.
Does anybody else refuse to say “under god” when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance?

I mean, isn’t most of the problem w this govt the fact that ppl are constantly trying to force one religion over another? One race one another. One class over another. We are a secular nation. We’re supposed to be a representative democracy. Stop shaming the govt and step in.

It’s been a while. They’ll do it at elementary school functions sometimes. Pretty the last time my 10yo was 8.
