    The Core is a classic retelling of the events surrounding the Resonance Cascade disaster from a new perspective. Featuring intense action, complex puzzles and believable narrative, through all-new locations within the Black Mesa Research Facility.

  2. Consider that some of these times take more time than others. If we were to produce a playable demo, that's time taken away from the project as a whole and would likely mean nothing else until release. Same goes for a trailer, although to a lesser extent.

    I rambled about The Core during my lunch break and uploaded the video and set it to go live at 9pm... Now it looks like some kind of major announcement, which it isn't. I was just bored.

  7. The Level 5 Dormitories. The luxurious dorm sector for Black Mesa's best and brightest, turned HECU forward command center. When the order to pull out came down, the Xen forces moved in and made quick work of any stragglers left behind.

  17. Seeking refuge from the HECU who have dug in and taken the dorms for themselves, the warehouse workers have fallen victim to the parasitic creatures that prefer to dwell in the darker, colder levels. Reanimated and mutated, they are on the prowl for fresh meat.

    Another night, another texture set, another prefab for The Core. Again, pretty happy with how this all came out so figured I'd share. Shelves come in multiple colours. Boxes have... probably TOO many variations.

    Spent the best part of the evening making some new box textures for The Core. Threw them onto some quick shelves (Temporary: Needs a new texture set) and was quite happy with how it came out.

    Still working to improve the appearance and gameplay in this chapter for The Core. I decided that the stone lab tiles appear far too often throughout the mod so I made a new set of wall textures... ...and I think they're accidentally the best textures I've ever made.

    I'm reworking some areas of The Core that were rushed and just feel bad. For starters, I've transformed this small, dark nothing of a room and made it into a tight little combat encounter. Reckon I can rework all of this map's low points before the weekend is over.
