Lebanon is a country that thrives on multiculturalism, sectarian harmony and diversity. This country epitomises the true meaning of secularism and not the one used for manipulation and disharmony.

sectarian harmony? i wouldve preferred the more accurate term co-existence. as for secular & if by secular U meant no religious id of state yes; otherwise its sectarian to the bone down to employing a janitor. Also no civil marriage or inheritance laws.

Confess, I am utterly baffled sometimes by Lebanese politics. At least it's interesting, though. Would like to visit this country some day.

I spent 2yrs in Lebanon - it is an amazing country with a complex colonial & political history - one of the first things to research about its politics is the concept of "confessionalism"
