    Great piece! How people are always surprised to read built environments are political will never cease to amaze me.

    There has indeed been a lively debate on my feed over the past 24 hours. Many people seem to be absolutely astonished at the idea gardening could reflect and reinforce the values of wider society. Well, I have written all about it here. Hope you enjoy.

    I feel this tweet more than I've ever felt a tweet. I know logically that fed is best but I wasn't prepared for the sadness, guilt and emotional loss of not being able to exclusively breastfeed. And then being mad at myself for being sad...self compassion is really important here

    the stress of it, combined with the guilt that you cannot do nature's most natural thing for your own baby is too much. I dunno why this is my crusade now. I just remember the sadness I felt and want you to know you are doing it right if your baby is fed, mama.

    I was asked in an interview today (paraphrased) why I seem to love trees so much. The short answer: the sense of place they give our landscapes. The long answer:

    Reporting on Stormé’s life was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Shout out to the for their preservation work, and to Michelle Parkerson, who first released a documentary about Stormé in 1987, and kindly allowed us to excerpt it for this piece.

    How long after marching should you get tested? There are tradeoffs. If you get tested too early, you are more likely to get a false negative result. If you wait too long, you might expose people before you get tested. Five to six days is probably the sweet spot.
