    FYI a note of context here. Sanders was critical of the Soviet Union as a totalitarian state as far back as his radical 1970s days. Many clips of it.

    When Bernie says "democratic socialism," it's considered uncouth to ask him what he means. We're all just supposed to assume "Denmark," when he spent his entire career defending Cuba, Venezuela, and the USSR.

    Grant's Memoirs. One of the two Presidents I admire does not discuss his Presidency. However it is an excellent first person history of the Mexican American War through the Civil War. Grant is an engaging and straightforward writer, which is a hard balance to strike.
