@mjtsai not sure it doesn't make sense. They are just plists. (Plus it was easy enough for MailTags to jump in to the game).

@smorr Since it doesn’t know about transactions, problems occur if you made changes on multiple Macs within a short period of time. -
@mjtsai true. But as icloud doesn’t work between users there is reduced chance of collisions -
@smorr Reduced chance, yes, but it seems to happen in practice. Maybe because the network is slow/unreliable. -
@mjtsai true. And I know that Mail has a tendency to write out data at interesting times (eg at launch) so it can height chance of clobbers.
