Further to the post we made yesterday about cancel culture, this video featuring Jameela Jamil explains it very well. Essentially, unless someone has done irrevocable harm, they should be allowed to learn and grow.

For what it's worth, my reply was on cancel culture generally. I think it has a valuable role to play in keeping horrible people out of safe spaces. The specific convo around WoW wasn't on my mind at the time. I think they have made the right noises as an org in the last 24hrs
That said, some of the comments made by individuals still don't look good (the thin air thing), and I'm reserving judgement.
