If you genuinely don't understand, I envy you that. Some people are monsters with zero empathy or understanding of how their own feelings could ever be less important than those of others. This guy is one of them.
Thing is. I've been in war. 5 deployments. I have seen people be at their absolute worst. Mankind can can be such horrid monsters. I say the question in more of a rhetorical but also shocked question. I want to see people do better. Just...not gonna happen.
I haven't been to war, but I'm a lawyer, and I've worked on abuse cases. I'm never surprised by the lows people sink to anymore. Just disappointed.
