I really hope that going forward they focus on more allied races, even lore wise I can’t ever believe there wasn’t factions of the current races that chose other paths

Absolutely! I know the obvious one is high elves, but there are so many other great options. Now would be a good time to do it: while we're at peace, just, idk, have a bunch of Tauren settle in Westfall and not want to leave when we eventually go back to war. Itd be so easy!
