Screw Ardenweald. The gorm are more unsettling than anything I saw in Maldraxxus.
You get to squish them though! Plus, at least they're presented as a pest and a problem. The gross stuff in Maldraxxus is just... the norm.

But Maldraxxus was advertised as bone and guts and flesh and lived up to the billing. I got what was expected. Ardenweald was supposed to be lush forests and gods in pods and sweet satyr-like people and instead its had more bugs than Cyberpunk 2077. Enough!

I think that's sort of the point. I've never been in a forest without bugs, so I found them appropriate. The fact that there's millions of them in Tir Na Noch is because the drought has thrown the ecosystem out of balance: hate the Jailer, not the Weald
