Yessssss. Or, make it twice as hard to achieve l, or take twice as long... something. They spent development money on it and it’s just wasted effort.
I only started playing in BfA, and on the one hand I totally agree that there are things you should only get from having been there for the expac. On the other hand, the fact that my worgen druid can't look like a weird wolf bear hybrid makes me sad.

The feeling of being left out is not a good one. I was out for most of Legion and missed out on all the cool stuff. I understand the “participant award” idea, but I also don’t like being unable to achieve something someone else has.
