Spine is actually really straightforward now. Kill all tentacle things but one, go stand in one of the empty tentacle holes, and kill everything til you have a nice big puddle of corrupted blood. When your puddle is big enough (say 11) kill last tentacle.

Then kite the mob that spawns through the puddle, making sure it gets I think 9 stacks of the debuff. Make sure you don't kill it til its right next to the plate, and it'll blow it up. Repeat x 2.
