I keep seeing people play a specific modpack for Minecraft and I can feel the itching, nagging little voice telling me I need to do it.

All of Fabric 3. There's also Valhelsia 2, but its a beast with resources.
Just had a look, and I think I'd be paralysed by all the options, especially with All of Fabric 3! Chainsaws... Tacos..?!
It all sounds awesome, but I think I'd need to be getting more bored with vanilla than I am to make that big of a change!

I think that if itd add to your enjoyment and extend your playtime, you should totally go for it

There are quite a few packs that try to stick to the vanilla feel of the game. I mostly want more ores and interesting blocks to find while mining that I can build with. My favorite is Nature's Beauty by Welsknight.

I've seen a few of his vids (my girlfriend is big into Hermitcraft) but didn't know he did mods too. I'll check it out!
