Will be interesting to see what post-Helm Bolvar thinks about everything. I remember reading he'll be at the head of the Ebon Blade in Shadowlands, which is... a bit odd if he's not going to be Lich King anymore.

Control of the scourge (hence second invasion) but he can still raise people up and wield DK type powers, I don’t think he’s suddenly going to start wanging around judgement and consecration

See, I'm less sure about that. The light abandoned Arthas at every specific point, mid Stratholme. Did it ever abandon Bolvar? I'm... not 100% sure on that.

The light probably abandoned him once he got put on the helm of Domination, though I don't think the light abandons you, but other way around, we've seen the light being used for evil as well, so there isn't really a right or wrong for the Light

I more meant that I don't think there's any clear reason Bolvar couldn't wield the Light again if he wanted to. Though that's a big if.

I think if he thought he still had a connection to the light and one worth using, we’d have seen it when Sylvanas roflstomped him.

I mean, there's a lot of things I thought he'd do in that fight that didn't happen

Yeah... I think it was when Juno interviewed Ian (red shirt guy) and Ian said he saw the fight from a different angle that Sylvanas wasn’t winning, she was using cunning to save herself to get to the helm, or something like that. May have the wrong podcast. Interesting take tho

It was that interview, yeah (which was a really good listen). Don't think many people came away with that view, but I can see how he did. Definitely a valid take.

Yep it was an interesting twist and I can totally see how he got to that view too and a part of me wonders if Bolvar is kinda glad about not wearing the helm too?!?

Guess it'll depend what the consequences of it are, ultimately. Being free from the helm: Awesome. Having failed to stop Sylvanas might eventually be a big weight to carry though, depending on what damage she does. I'm really excited to see where blizz are taking this story.
