Anti bus folks have said is that they are concerned the 14th Street busway will divert traffic onto 12th/13th Street. We say NO! Doing nothing will mean more taxis and FHV on those streets. People need good transit options. So...with no busway, this is 12th Street RN.

I think I see the painted outline of the future "pork chop" and the beginnings of a pedestrian island to close this at Queensboro Bridge! Also very much looking forward to getting all those potholes smoothed out... cc

Horrible scandal that Koeppel Madza can put in a drive thru in a park that residents worked for for 8 years - Sign the Petition - Keep Travers Park Safe (and Car-Free!)! via

So much love to the peeps who - for 3 years - stuck with it, through highs and lows and tough spots and jams. Citizen activism paving the way to a better future for New York's bus riders, bike riders, and pedestrians. 🙏to , particularly, for leading the way

Scoop: the city will ban through traffic on most of 14th Street as part of a pilot to speed buses during the L train slowdown. Details here.

I'm very concerned the L Train repairs are going to present an unprecedented challenge for New York straphangers. A busway on 14th Street with pick-up/drop-off access for local residents is the only way we are going to be able to move people quickly over the next 15 months.

it's kind of crazy. The mayor and council speaker both held press conferences about big plans to make buses go faster. Now there's a bus-only path already done on a street 10s of thousands of people travel on, and neither will say they support it.

TBT - when , , and raced the M14 bus on foot and only arrived 5 seconds behind. This level of service during the will be unacceptable. Days away and no plan. What’s going on , ?
