    This economic sanctions game is getting out of hand… It’s not meant to target allied EU/NATO member states like Poland and Hungary. European Parliament members need to take a deep breath and consider fact that Hungary & Poland are absorbing million+ Ukrainian refugees right now.

    BREAKING: The European Parliament just passed a resolution demanding the European Commission imposes immediate economic sanctions on... Poland and Hungary. 478 MEPs voted for, 155 against. Poland took in 1.4 mln refugees in 2 weeks and is struggling with the economic costs.

    China's APT41 hackers breached at least six US state governments in the last year, in some cases by exploiting a vulnerability in a livestock-tracking web app called USAHERDS, according to Mandiant. A total of 18 states use the app.

    The US should not be buying oil from the Maduro dictatorship. The US should produce its own energy. The Biden administration is still choosing ideology over common sense. This helps tyranny abroad and undermines American prosperity.

    The inability to distinguish between governments and the peoples they *should* serve is both a lazy and dangerous error. It plays into the hands of Putin’s and the CCP’s narratives. Certainly, the brilliant late Dostoevsky should not be a victim of Russia’s current aggression.

    Italy’s main University in Milan just banned teaching Fyodor Dostoevsky because he’s a Russian writer. Dostoevsky was sent to a Siberian labour camp for reading banned books in Tsarist Russia. We are reaching levels of hatred and stupidity that I thought were never possible.

    The West is about to give the Russian Central Bank a SWIFT kick in the Ruble.

    As a result of Putin’s war on Ukraine, we join with leaders of EU, France, Germany, Italy, UK and Canada to ensure key sanctioned Russian banks are disconnected from SWIFT, impose restrictions on Russian Central Bank, and further identify and freeze assets of sanctioned Russians.

    Rozmawiałem dzisiaj ponownie z premierem Węgier V. Orbanem. I po raz kolejny zapewnił mnie o poparciu dla daleko idących sankcji skierowanych wobec Rosji. W tym także o zablokowaniu systemu SWIFT.
