Something I learned recently: "Use" and "utilize" are not synonyms. "Utilize" means to use but not for the object's intended purpose. I use a doorstop to keep my door open, but utilize a brick to do so. If that's the precise meaning intended, use "utilize".

When providing readers with a non-exhaustive list, you only need one indication that the list is non-exhaustive. The use of 'such as' as well as 'and so on' in the attached is unnecessary. Actually, just 'e.g.,' at the start would do.

If you want to say something was influenced greatly by something else, don't use the word 'largely', as this means 'mainly' or 'mostly', which conveys a different meaning. 'Greatly' is fine, or 'markedly', 'noticeably', 'prominently' etc.

Sometimes as an editor you just have to accept that you completely misjudged how long long a job will take and move everything else back a day. Choosing to burn the midnight oil to get it done can just end up being counterproductive.

I really don't like 'till' being used in place of 'until'. For me, it's a noun (cash register) or a verb (to prepare land for crops).
