  2. It continues to be embarrassing that this reprehensible idiot bears the same clan name as I. Seriously, preferring a war criminal to a democratically elected president is low, even by 's previously shockingly low standards.

Just to be clear, asking me whether I have visited any islands during my visit to the island nation I live in is kind of dumb. So is asking for my address in UK when I have stated I'm transiting.

The UK passenger locator form thing is some of the most ridiculous bureaucracy I've seen since... well, since last time I had to go near UK.

I've really had it with all these galaxy brained tankies who are suggesting that Ukraine should try to resolve this diplomatically and that responding to the invasion with violence isn't the solution. It's top notch victim blaming, and it'd be laughable if it wasn't so tragic.

Of course, practically speaking, there is about 30 years of tacit agreement that the Russian Federation holds that seat. Undoing that is complicated. However, it would stand to reason that Russia should be temporarily suspended from the UNSC until it can be voted on formally.

As Ukraine has pointed out: Unlike China, the Russian Federation was never actually formally and legally adopted into the UN Security Council. They were just assumed to take over the USSR's seat. But since the USSR no longer exists and there was no formal transition...

In particular, two things need to happen: a) The establishment of a directly democratically elected United Nationsl Parliamentary Assembly, as a "lower house", with the General Assembly remaining a 1-country-1-vote "senate". b) The security council needs to be fixed. Now...

The UN is an imperfect organization. The flaw that's exposed here is a well known one: the UN security council is way too powerful, and the permanent memberships don't have terms and conditions attached to them. UN needs swift and effective reform, not dissolution.

Ah, Putin's puppet steps forward from the shadows, asserts his right to continue pillaging from the Ukrainian people on behalf of his master. What a deeply useless piece of shit Yanukovych is.

1/14 Whether Russians actually support the hideous war that Putin has waged against Ukraine is a matter of utmost political importance. The answer to this question will largely define Russia’s place in the history of the 21st century.

There have long been strong indications that Brexit was supported by Russian state actors and pushed by their puppets. This tweet nicely sums up the scale of Russian control over the UK.
