It is unreal that Alex Jones can continue to harass an individual, let alone a teen, on the @YouTube platform and not get a “third strike”.
Would not be surprised if @TeamYouTube begins to see lawsuits aimed at them for amplifying these messages.

What you are proposing is a SLAPP ("strategic lawsuit against public participation") and those are illegal in the state of California, where Google (Youtube's parent company) is headquartered.

Mr. Hogg became a public figure through his own freely made choices. Criticism of a public figure, however illogical, is not harassment. It is protected speech. In fact, it's precisely the sort of speech that the founding fathers had in mind when they framed the 1st amendment.

Your attempt to argue that Hogg's status as a teen entitles him to special protection becomes particularly comical because of your failure to watch the calendar. David Hogg was born on April 12, 2000. He turned 18 a few weeks ago. He's legally an adult.

But even if he wasn't, his public presence has been overtly political from the very beginning, and Mr. Hogg doesn't get to have it both ways.

... and then in the next, be shielded from criticism, even insane criticism, on the basis that he's just a little boy. Either his maturity does get taken seriously or it does not.

But even if he were two, constitutionally, any attempt to stifle criticism of his political speech would be a non-starter and like it or not, his account of his experience of that shooting is part of his political speech. You do remember what his issue is, right? Gun control.

One can't separate his account of what happened at Parkland from his issue, given the nature of the appeal he has made to the electorate.

You are arguing about David Hogg as Breitbart would, and that’s you’re prerogative, but this is not about that.

Really? You want to argue that an openly Jewish user who really has been harassed (and repeatedly suspended and silenced) on this platform because of false flagging by the neo-Nazis present, is himself a member of the Alt-Right? What's next? How outrageous do you want to get?

I'm racially mixed. Would you also like to claim that I've been working for the Ku Klux Klan?
