A reminder that this year I found evidence of Neo-Nazi groups using channels to conduct "raids" on Breitbart (because they felt Breitbart's audience would be receptive to their message) and Disqus did nothing.

  3. Think about this for a second. Instead of pushing for fact-based resources or even well-known outlets like Wall Street Journal, this dude pushed one of the more extremist sites, started by racist Tucker Carlson and funded by the Koch Brothers to fact check . What a joke.

. Happy to welcome your Canadian firm to the US market, but are you aware your digital marketing program includes ad placement on toxic, xenophobic Breitbart? This sad connection of your brand to hate can be avoided. Thanks! .

Kind of surprised that wasn't on this list. It's not a list you'd want to be on but Sleeping Giants went through hell this year after being doxxed by The Daily Caller.

  7. They don’t just say this shit because they’re assholes (although clearly they are), they say it because it gets them appearances on TV and book deals and podcast distribution with ad dollars. It’s time for them to play defense for awhile.

  8. Not going to show that tweet, but suffice it to say that there’s an entire industry that has used laissez-faire social networks, easy-to-game ad networks and shameless racists like him who are willing to say anything to make big money.

Just took a look at Stefan Molyneux’s timeline. He seems to be angling for the next big white supremacist public meltdown.

  18. So Fox can blame anyone they want that they’re losing advertisers on this show, but ultimately, they must point the finger directly back at themselves. They don’t have to air this rhetoric, but they’ve made the choice to do it, just as advertisers have by not supporting it.

  19. Most of these companies have Diversity and Inclusion departments and pages on their websites. To support a show that has openly questioned (repeatedly) the idea that diversity is good for our country just isn’t in line with that. It’s reads as hypocritical to sponsor it.

  20. As someone who’s spent a lot of advertisers, it has always been clear that they want to steer clear of controversy, even rewording copy on commercials to avoid being misconstrued. Being on a show that calls immigrants - or anyone - dirty is a tremendous risk.
