Publishers have always done a poor job distinguishing posts that don't come direct from their writers/editors. And we know this is on purpose, at least online. The less journalistic rigor, the more clicks.

Someone should do a really subtle ad-fix extension. Don't block anything, just puts a uniformly coloured border around all non-editorial content.
