@slightlylate Do you know if Chrome team considering standardizing GDPR consent management interfaces or APIs directly onto the browser as a native browser component? I'm looking at https://github.com/appnexus/cmp which appears to be defining a library based on IAB standard.
It'd be pretty bad practice for browsers to encode APIs around specific regulations. That said, are there lower-level pieces that are missing?

That makes sense, I can't speak to lower-level pieces yet, just wheels turning on all Consent Management Platforms (CMP) accessing the same cookie key, regulation of expiration times, and similarities in the APIs to retrieve a user's current consent status
