Your argument would carry a lot more weight if you also argued for Android to come pre-packaged with alternative browsers. You *know* how nearly impossible it is to get users to install a non-default browser without a billion $ in marketing, especially on mobile.

The world does need a relevant Mozilla. We're not resigned to desktop. We care about the next billion. We've tried a number of approaches with mobile browsers the last couple of years, Focus was the most successful of the experiments, but there's also Rocket in Indonesia and more

& this year we're taking what we learned last year with our GeckoView implementation and building it into a mobile "quantum" effort with a full court press on performance, just like we did for Desktop for most of last year. It starts with Klar but quickly moves to a full browser.
