Once desktop PWAs launches in Chrome, will the users get a full screen experience as on mobile or is it going to open in a separate window as any other website?

I'm assuming a standalone window like the chrome apps Full screen just doesn't make sense on desktop

Developers can request several different treatments via the manifest: https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/web-app-manifest/ … Initially we'll only support "standalone" which will give you a window (not full-screen).
