I have this spreadsheet about depreciation cost of phones. Maybe LeEco Le Pro 3, Xiaomi Mi 5 or Mi Mix 2, each with Lineage (3rd party OS)? Not high perf. but fair price/perf. It looks like the best chip on the (Android) market today is what's in the S9 (Exynos 9810). It's still a dog compared to equivalently-priced Apple devices.
