IIRC this is because Google's U2F library tries to overwrite the window.u2f object, which isn't allowed in Firefox because it's a webidl object, but is allowed in chrome bc it's a javascript shim. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1340738 … might be the bug, but there may be a more specific one.
