ETA, roadmap, what is holding it up now? Have heard DOM refactoring, then work on CSS and now people tell me it's security work

...in that higher priority things tend to be things with big impact. WC haven't had that without adoption. YT could help with that

Ionic moving to WC as well. At least, you should prioritize custom elements, I think.

Probably shadow dom before custom elements as we've seen none wc use cases too, but anything could change.

WC is a huge undertaking. Like ServiceWorkers et al. The latter got priority as was much more momentum there (inc. at Google)

The evangelism wasn't done with WC or there would be more adoption. Specs changed too. If you were in our shoes, PWA or WC first?
