I've taken to asking some teams that are in deep tool co-dependent relationships if they've tried PHP/nojs. Simple hasn't occured to some.

Many teams think they need to support way more legacy than they do. Lots of NIH. Also, less incentive to target mobile web (*sigh*).

I think we'll get there, but most external teams have a better shot at delivering "good" with less effort today.
